Project: Gosford Hospital Redevelopment Health & Wellbeing Precinct – Building A Base Build
Client: Richard Crookes Constructions
Services: Air Quality Monitoring

Richard Crookes Construction engaged ama Monitoring Services to monitor and validate the air quality during the bushfires burning heavily during December 2018 and January/February 2019. Due to a stringent delivery program, we installed an air quality monitor to determine the level of smoke and ash on-site. Our effort enabled workers to continue working on-site each day until the recorded unsafe PM2.5 limit. The monitor was effective as it allowed the workers to work in part for most days before the site shut down due to the smoke hazard. The closest local reporting station was over 40km away and was not an accurate indication of the site’s air quality.
